All good things must come to an end...

As you may have realised, we do these blogs as much for us, as we do for you. But we're now not posting as often as we used to. We're also cautious what we do post, now that Vievey is getting older. So we're moving on. Check out our new blog - you'll need to sign up (and then ask us) to get all of the content, but some of the content will still be able to be seen by anyone. We just may not be putting things up there quite so often.

So thanks for coming. We're glad you've enjoyed it! And if you want to keep up with the exploits of the Vievey-monster, then come across to the new site at http://gcb.vox.com - it'll be worth the trip.

Cory, Naomi and (not so) little Genevieve.

Fuzzi bunz still number one

Genevieve has been in Fuzzi Bunz reusable nappies since she was around a week old. We'll use disposables on the odd occasion, if we're going away, and there's generally a spare one in her nappy bag just in case, but generally, she's a Fuzzi Bunz girl.

We find them just as easy... no, actually easier than disposables. I'm not gonna rave about them again, check out this previous post as well as this one. Suffice it to say, we've loved them enough to buy her the next size up, as her current ones are getting somewhat 'hipster' fit. She got the 'petite toddler' size, given her slender frame. But in the end, they save us money, and they save the environment and they look great too.

There's always a Fuzzibunz great nappies link at the right of this blog if you want to see if they'll suit you. They pay for themselves in a few months.

The whole-body "No!"

For some time now, Vievey has been able to let us know if she doesn't want something. For example, if we're feeding her, she'd turn her head away from the spoon.

That graduated to shaking her head, in the customary style.

No, she's developed this 'whole-body No' where she'll shake her head, and her body to let us know she's not interested.

It's very cute, but it doesn't really help much at breakfast time.

Funny Face

Genevieve has a new trick - if you are outside she will come up to the glass doors and push her face up against them while she is watching you. It is pretty funny. Luckily Cory had his phone when he was outside today and managed to capture her doing it.
